Oh, damn, sweetie, you DO need to just ignore the poster. You know what happens, and DON'T take it personally, please. It is THAT POSTER'S agenda that is driving that poster, nothing about you. That poster doesn't even know you!
Go ahead and cry all you want about the events of today, and if they are good enough friends coming for dinner, the flat only has to be tidy enough so that they aren't totally grossed out, and the dishes shouldn't have hair and crusty food on them. Anything beyond that doesn't really matter, if they love you.
Take care, and please don't leave. You would be so very missed, here.
Don't respond to that poster for a week. It'll subside. It's just that poster's way of being.
