Maybe you can find another community garden to work in. Or maybe start an herb garden on a window sill.
One spring, I just put some soil in a plastic liner that came in a basket and grew grass seed in it.
I love cyclamen, but mine always end up looking sick. I think it's because they go through a dormant period, which is why the foliage gets sparse. I used to keep watering them, then they'd die. I haven't had one in a long time.Wishing you all the best,
