Let's see... Last July I lost a job of many years which really took it's toll of my self-esteem (what little I had anyway). I had really put my heart and soul into the company and was pretty devastated when it happened. I wasn't the only one, there were 95 of us in all on that layoff. Thankfully I had Shar's shoulder to cry on. We talk on the phone at least once a week (almost) and she's really been a godsend to me. She supported me thru a really tough time and I don't think I could have made it without her. She is also teaching me fluent Texan... :) I have a job now that I dearly hate, but it's paying the bills and I guess that's what really matters. I'm keeping my eyes open for the next career move, a VP job would be nice...
My med cocktail... 2.5mgs Zypreza, 200mgs Topamax, .5mg Klonopin 2x daily for anxiety, and 10mgs Ambien. I also have been taking Adderall XR 10mgs periodically for fatigue. I've been working OT at my regular job and then I come home and work at my home business (Architectural Drafting and Design) for another 3-4 hours and usually on weekends so I'm pretty worn out most of the time.
Mary (my wife) is doing well. She had back surgery about a year ago but is doing great. I had it 3 1/2 years ago and was a basket case for a year and a half. She was doing good in 5 months... I don't know if women are more tolerant to pain or men just like to be babied. Probably both. Jeni, my oldest is due with my first grandchild on August 30th. She was going to name her Paris, which I thought was totally cool, but the Dad vetoed that, so now it's Alyssa. NaShay, my youngest girl you may have read is having some emotional problems and is going to see a psychologist next Wednesday. She scared me pretty good last weekend and I hope we can get her the help she needs before it gets too far out of control. The last thing I want is for my kids to become me... Brandon, my so is, well, a 12 year old boy. Skateboards, goped, bicycle, playstation, computer, etc.
Well, that's me in a nutshell. Aren't you glad you asked? :)
