If, in fact, 240 mg of Parnate in addition to Seroquel is what was prescribed, your friend should indeed consult another doctor. Quickly.

> A friend is hospitalized from an overdose of Seroquel and Parnate. He took way more than the prescribed dose of Seroquel, but here I am concerned that his prescription for Parnate is for 6 tablets 4 times/day = 240 mg/day. From what I've read this is 8x the recommended maximum. Drug information includes the statement that doses greater than 30mg/day are "unlikey to be beneficial".
