Thanks for thinking of me. The deal with bus driving is that we are a union job, all work is signed by seniority and I am near the bottom of the list. Steady day work is only available to those who have been around for 20 years plus. The is the way transit works all over the world. I do this job because I earn 21.00 Cn per hour and have benefits. Being a single parent requires a decent income in order to provide proper food and shelter for my daughter and myself. Life in British Columbia is very expensive. Even at my current income we are unable to live in a nice place. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Changing work does not seem to be an option at this time. Finding a rich man, winning the lottery - now that could make a difference (:
