In reply to TO ALL PSYCHO-BABBLERS...., posted by CarolAnn on December 10, 1999, at 7:57:55
I came here months ago looking for advice on treating my stubborn anhedonia. I'm still struggling but have found a world of friends to visit everyday (sometimes a lot everyday) to share advice. Sometimes I like to jump in, but I find it very inspiring, entertaining, educational, and uplifting to just be a spectator. Many compliments and regards to all here. My doctor can't give the kind of knowledge and experience I find here. My family and friends are very uncomfortable talking about depression or medication. Psychobabble is a unique and special place unlike any other in the country...scratch that...world....scratch that....universe. There. A place where I can feel at home, comfortable, accepted, and understood by others who really know the nature of the beast called depression.
One question though. I get most bored on weekends and stop in often to see what people are talking about, but there's hardly any activity on weekends. What's up with that? I would think there would a lot more activity here on weekends. I wonder why there isn't. Once again though, many thanks and compliments to everybody. Even though I can't see your faces, I cherish your friendships. JohnL
