Alert: New Uses for Zyprexa and Lamictal

Just thought I'd pass this on ---

Zyprexa's been approved by the FDA for bipolar disorder -- I think it's the first antipsychotic officially approved for this use.

Lamictal's been proven helpful for PTSD according to one study. Also, I read on PubMed that glutamate overexcitation may be the cause of dissociative episodes, so since lamictal is an anti-glutaminergic drug, maybe it'll be helpful for dissociation.
