I also take Wellbutrin SR - 200 mg on rising and 200 mg at bedtime. When I first started taking it, I developed insomnia too. My doctor said Wellbutrin is very activating and prescribed .5 mg of Klonopin to take before I go to bed, which I'm still taking six months later. Another thing that helped at night is going to bed immediately after taking Wellbutrin.

> My Dr. has started me on 150mg Wellbutrin twice a day. I got severe insomnia, didn't sleep for 4 days, so he reduced the dose to 150mg once a day for a week or two, then back up to twice a day.
> My question is, once I get back to twice a day, how long can I expect the insomnia to continue (assuming that it returns). My doctor won't tell me.
