Pergolide for Sexual Dysfunction: Anyone used it??

Posted by Rick on November 22, 1999, at 16:13:14

I keep seeing mentions on this board of how dopamine-agonist pergolide (Parkinson's drug Permax) can do wonders for AD-induced sexual dysfunction -- e.g. see George M.'s post about Marplan for Social Phobia.

But everyone sems to be reporting on what they've HEARD, not what they've actually done. Can we get some feedback from anyone who's actually tried or prescribed pergolide for this purpose? Does it live up to the claims?

I have no intention of getting back on AD's at this point, but I'm curious, especially since
I have a friend who just switched from low-dose gabapentin (Neurontin) to pergolide to treat Periodic Limb Movement of sleep. It's working very well. (BTW, she doesn't take any psychotropics).
