When you say brand name, what was it called? What is the generic called? How were they different?I hope someone who knows more about generic vs. name-brand issues replies to your post. I think there is sometimes a difference in the bioavailability of the drug to the target tissues. Although the active ingredient (selegiline) may be the same, the generic drug might use different binders and fillers that affect absorption into the blood-stream. I'm sure there must be other reasons as well.
