More accurately - it didn't continue to work. I'm not sure that there is a single antidepressant currently available for which this scenario has not occurred. However, I have seen more posts on the newsgroups describing relapse with moclobemide than either Nardil or Parnate.
I have also seen posts in which moclobemide was was described as being very effective. I get the impression that moclobemide has fewer side-effects than the other available MAO inhibitors.
Although as a reversible MAO-I, it is touted as needing no dietary restrictions, there are case reports to the contrary. You may want to do your own literature-search using the Medline resource available at: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/medline.htmlGood Luck!
