In reply to Naltrexone Update Request, posted by Anon E. Mouse on November 3, 1999, at 10:50:33
Just wanted to apologize if this post was reduntant to Mouse's request (by the way, did I steal someone's name?)
I guess mine is more asking for updates on the safety and efficacy over longer term. Do you just keep taking the stuff, or do you eventually get better?
Thanks again!
> Hey guys -
> I was reading back on the list a couple of months and I noticed that some people were having success with naltrexone (ReVia) back in May. I was wondering if anybody who tried this could update us on ReVia's success or failure / Side Effects / Dosage?
> I was thinking about adding it to Effexor XR to help control mood swings. My problem is: It seems like I'm always craving something in the future and so I can never enjoy the present. But then when I actually am doing the thing I was craving, I get a rush for a short time, but then become bored easily (usually after overengaging in whatever it was I was craving).
> I'd rather be able to enjoy life for its own sake, but right now I don't seem able to do this.
