Peter,

I can't give you any info on Remeron either, but I offer another experience:

My daughter was diagnosed with severe OCD six years ago. Her quality of life was nil with her germ-phobias and countless rituals. Anafranil (clomipromine - supposedly the industry standard treatment for OCD) helped with the OCD, but it made her sleep most of the time so it didn't much matter. Prozac actually made her OCD worse. She was then given Zoloft and has been thriving on it for almost two years - claims it's her "miracle drug."

Who knows what will work for whom? I wish you luck in your search for what works for you.

Judy
