JP, Prozac definitely can cause all of the side effects you mention. I don't really think of them as markers of psychosis, but rather of agitation. I am on Prozac, which works best for me of all the ADs I have tried (and I've tried almost everything). I recently started Prozac again after taking nothing for 6 months. WHen I started back on the meds, I had ALL of the effects you describe: tension, clenched jaw, strange muscular sensations like twitching, very lucid, bizarre dreams and just overall agitation. The side effects went away after about 2 weeks, but came back again when I increased my dose. I am still increasing my dose, and whenever I go up a step, they return. I found that exercising more really helped me deal with the agitation. Also, I took a benzo at night on occasion, to help with the jaw clenching -- which was so severe that I was waking up with headaches and started to erode my gum line. If it's any consolation, the side effects should lessen or pass. The only side effect that does not seem to pass, at least for me, are the bizarre dreams. Hang in there! Let us know how you're doing.
