No verdict yet as to whether I will continue it, but it definitely does increase alertness. My sleep schedule is FUBA(R)R, but I haven't dropped off in class recently the way I had been doing.

No mood effects, and it doesn't seem to do much good for my concentration unfortunately (that's where I really need help). Also, I found that it was definitely too stimulating at 200mg, usually regarded as a fairly minimal dose (exaggerated startle reflex, difficulty turning off my thoughts, clenched jaw, etc.). Non-jittery stimulant indeed!

I don't find it to increase motivation, but that was not a problem for me before. Perhaps a little more alertness would be just the thing for you.

Also, I had an incredibly odd experience the one day I tried taking 200mg: I got very...intense. So perhaps higher doses will help with motivation.

>In my reading on Parnate and MAOI's, it seems that they have a tendency to lower thyroid function (TSH levels). What about augmenting with T3 to counteract this? And doesn't lithium also depress thyroid funtion, too?

Hypothyroidism would actually be indicated by *elevated* TSH, I think. (Anyone?) You'd have to have a baseline level to know whether this is what's going on for you. But yeah, T3 is generally a good augmentor, regardless.

(I have modestly elevated TSH despite my low dose of lithium, but I don't have clinical symptoms associated with hypo- or hyperthyroidism.)

> Have you ever tried the T3 with any AD? Think it might help with Parnate for fatigue (mental and physical), motivation, even concentration?

Never tried T3, so if you do it, let me know! :-) Take care....
