Zoloft and sweating (and other side effects)

Posted by Charlie on October 6, 1999, at 21:41:54

I'm on an incredibly low dose (25 mg) of Zoloft and the sweating, from the slightest indication of warmth, is pretty awful. I was on 50 mg and got flu-like symptoms that were so unbearable that my doctor moved me back down to the 25, where i've stayed.

Anyway, is there any way to eliminate the sweating? And now that i've been on 25 mg for about 8 weeks, could i think about moving the dosage up or would the same side effects recur? To be honest, i have seen little or no improvement in mood due to this drug, which doesn't surprise me because of the dose i'm on. hardly seems worth it.

Advice, please?

thanks,
Charlie
