Hi,
OK, 7:30 on Tue. 10/12 at Space Untitled.
Also, I'd like to get a better idea of whether it would be OK to invite a couple guests. One is a psychologist I know from the International Society for Mental Health Online:
http://www.ismho.org
The other is someone from the Netherlands with whom I've corresponded some recently regarding this project he's working on:
"The Dutch Council for Health and Social Service has started a project called Patient and Internet. The Council is an independant advisory body for the Dutch government and I am the leader of this project...
I hope you allow me to raise one specific question. Do you have information with respect to the influence of Internet on the decisions made by patients and/or doctors (induced by the 'Internet-informed' patient) e.g. does the use of Internet affect the number of doctor-visits, choices of therapies, etc...
If the discussion on the evening of October 12th will give me some clues on the influence of Internet on the decisions made by clients/consumers then I would be very pleased to have the possibility to attend your meeting."
When he asked about the influence of the Internet on decision-making, I of course thought of all the folks here (in "Babbleland", as someone said :-).
So, anyway, these are people who might be interested, but I wanted to check first. If you'd prefer for it just to be us, please let me know, directly rather than here if you want. It would be perfectly understandable and fine with me. But if no one minds, I think it might be fun to invite them to join us.
