> SteveIt's hard to say what part Parnate is taking in your cycle. It's possible it hasn't left your body completely. But what I would like to add is that after seven days on SAMe I had a complete lift of my depression on 2 - 200mgs SAMe per day. It went slowly downhill after that. I increased to 4 pills per day (@ 1$ per pill), but I never got back to that original point. Well, after paying $4 per day and getting only partial success (perhaps 30% reduction in symptoms), I scaled back to 2 pills a day, and am sorry to say, have sunk very low again. I've read that this supplemant can be take up to 8 pills a day (yikes!!$$$) for severly depressed people (me), but that's too rich for my blood. I've also read it's good in comination with tryciclics. One poster (JohnL) noted it helped out his Prozac. So my suggestion to you is...if you are at the lower dose, try the increase (from what I've seen it's extremely safe) and go from there. It seems likely that the cost situation will be your biggest roadblock to ultimately
finding out if it will be successful.Tom
