James here....In this class of drugs overdose leading to death
is not, in general, possible. This is why they are used instead of other meds for anxiety. As to addiction, I can't say at what dose this happens.
I have been taking 60 1 mg tabs every 4 months for years, generally 1mg/day and I don't go more than 3 days running because it effects my memory.
My doc gave me some guidelines with this med (like how much was too much, and to call if I needed to take more than indicated) please make your conserns known to your doc, too. Remember that I am telling you what I do, which may not work for you. I think talking to your doc will help you with your conserns.j
