Luvox side affects

Posted by Thumper Girl on September 11, 1999, at 22:21:01

Does anyone have one of those huge package inserts for Luvox (fluvoxamine)? I am tyring to find out if alopecia (hair loss) is a side affect. I have researched many others ADs and ALL have this fun side affect listed as "Infrequent", meaning 1 in 100-1,000 people experience it. The ones I've researched are Paxil, Serzone, Wellbutrin, Elavil, Tofrinal, Sinequan, Remeron, Effoxor and Buspar. Everyone stinkin one has hair loss as an Infrequent side affect.

My search began after my hair starting falling out when on Prozac. I quit Prozac and REALLY need to find a replacement. (yes I've been checked for thyroid and anemia) I'm assuming since Luvox is just another SSRI, it will have the same side affect, but I thought I try!

Thanks.
