I have developed Neuropathy in my feet and lower leg. This has been verified by a Neurologist. In my search, I also saw an infectious disease doctor. He treated me with oral antibiotics for Lymes disease in July. My Neurologist stated that I am otherwise very healthy. If the Neuropathy was caused by the Lymes, it could take up to 12 months for me to have restored feeling in my feet (nerves to regenerate). I believe that the Neuropathy is from the Parnate. It is listed as an obscure side effect. However, pharmacists say that they have heard this same complaint many times before. I am staying on the Parnate because I may have no other reasonable choice. The SSRI's stopped working. I did not like the sexual dysfunction caused by them. I am hoping for a new discovery. Has anyone experienced numbness in their feet while taking Parnate. Has anyone had relief from this problem by going off of the Parnate. How long did this take. I am currently taking 200 mg. of a Vitamin B6. This has been known to help with the Neuropathy. Any feedback, let me know.
