Hi Roo,
It's fairly common for TCA's to cause increased sweating and heartrate, especially at the outset of treatment. (Also other typical "anticholinergic" effects like dry mouth, constipation, etc.) In my experience, most side-effects decrease and/or go away after a few weeks, but everyone tends to be a bit different on this level.
