The capsules contain so little omega-3's that you'd have to take about a zillion of them per day in order to get much out of it. (There is one brand that has 600mg EPA/pill (don't remember how much DHA), but that's still not much. The one study on bipolar disorder used something like 6 *g* of EPA.)
