It is a non mood cognation improving effect that really helps with the ADD. I've looked for the same info and have not found it but assume it takes a higher dose to get sig. effect. I take 200-300.

Thanks for the input. I could swear someone on Psycho-Babble mentioned a specific
dose once, but alas I cannot find it.I wish Dr. Bob had a search feature for the
Psycho-Babble posts, but that's another topic...I'm interested in dopamine because the only meds that have had a good effect for
me have had some dopaminergic action (Nardil, Parnate, ritalin, prozac), and for various
reasons I cannot take them. So, for me, I'm pretty convinced dopamine = less depression.
I'm currently taking 225mg Effexor, but I despair of going much higher due to side effects,
and I'm tempted to just give up on it and try Marplan, tho I fear weight gain and excessive
sweating.Well, you asked :-)
