> Has anyone here tried Selegiline (deprenyl)for depression with comorbid ADD. I have heard a lot about its effectiveness when used in combonation with l phenylalanine. I have tried paxil, ritalin, and adderall for my symptoms. None were really that helpful. Any replies would be helpful.
I was at the beginning of a four year depressive episode that is just now coming to an end. It started upon giving up marijuana smoking and really sent me spinning. I had unlimited access to selegiline at that time and self medicated for about six months. I was taking about 10 to 20 mg/day (measured by eye). It provided very little relief for me, and since it was not prescribed, I stopped. I have never suffered from ADD, however, so it might be more effective in your case.
