Rather than try a higher dose, my doctor has tried Celexa and Zoloft, both of which have been problematic. In the past, I ruled out Paxil and Effexor because of side effect problems. When I go for my next med check, I'm wondering if I should ask for Prozac again at a higher dose or perhaps with some additive. The only other AD's left to try are Serzone and Wellbutrin, but frankly I'm leaning toward the medicine that for so long was "tried and true."

Leonora,
After feeling great on Prozac for for 4 years I went off it for
4 months and had to go back on. I had to take a higher dose at first
and it took a long time (months) before I felt almost as good
as before I went off it. I seemed to get a better result from Zoloft
which I have taken for 4 years and is now not working as well so I am
trying Celexa. Good Luck
Laz : )
