I meant to say something amusing, but by no means only that. It is great to love someone you also lust after when the other loves and lusts after you. But there is also something I call 'romantic love' here which really is pathological: it causes cognitive distortion, self- and other-destructive behavior, feeds on pain and autonomic dysfunction, etc.. DSM, take note, and call it Al's Syndrome.
