I'm curious as to what dosage you found was best without getting the sexual side effects. I've only been on this drug for about a week after switching from prozac but so far no difference in the sexual side effects. I'm only taking 75mg effexor xr and have been told to take more to get rid of the sexual side effects. Some people believe you need to get the norepinephrine and dopamine effect of the drug in order to fight off the sexual side effects. Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge or experience with getting the dosage right to fight off the sexual side effects and not have too many side effects overall. I'll be very grateful for any information you can give me to help me out. Thanks in advance!

I'm also having trouble with sleep and I've been helped a little by adding 25 to 50 mgs of trazadone 30 minutes before trying to sleep. How much BuSpar do you take, how often, and when do you take it. Does it really help you sleep better? How soon after you started to take it did it help your sexual side effects?
