I'm 36, been suffering from trichotillomania since I was 6. I just discovered I also have Attention Deficit Disorder. I've been on Dexedrine for a couple of months and my trichotillomania has decreased by 95%. I tried traditional medications with my psychiatrist for tricholtillomania ( Anafranil - I think and other combinations) but these medications made my trichotillmania worse. For me, trichotillomania is a way for me to center my brain.
