> I posted earlier, but here goes again. I'm looking for general info on Amitriptyline, when does it peak, why do I have to take it before bed, why am I losing my hair. I was struggling with extreme mood swings untill today, when my dosage was upped by 25 milligrams. I need to know what warning signs to look out for and what sexual side-effects there are. Anyone with experience with Amitriptyline that would like to share their advice with me would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,

I responded earlier, but did not see th post for
some reason.I have heard that the peak serum is reached
rather quickly with ami (6-10 hours) and it
does not have a long half-life compared with
Prozac.Side effects: sleepiness, dry mouth, low blood
pressure. I liked it very much but can no longer
take in high mg's due to heart situation. It
also seemed to work on my migraines...Good luck!
Sean.
