> I just found this board and just started Celexa yesterday, so I'm not sure what to expect yet. Years ago, another doctor gave me an anti-depressant that made me feel like a complete zombie. I quit taking it and tried to live with being depressed until this winter it seemed so much worse. I had no side affects after taking it last night except for feeling a little groggy this morning. As I take more, will the side affects increase or will I be lucky enough not to have any more than that? I'm taking 10 mgs. and by the looks of it, that's a low dosage. Your postings are encouraging! And thanks for the tip about not drinking while on it. I'm not a big drinker, but I do like to go out once in awhile and have a few beers. Does this mean that you can never drink again while on Celexa, or can you skip your dosage if you know you're going to imbibe? That doesn't sound right, either...I have a friend on all sorts of panic disorder medications and she drinks quite often with no side affects. (Unless she isn't taking her meds when she goes out.)I have to see my doctor next month, I'm sure I'll have tons of questions...
