> After Paxil and Ritalin seemed to poop out, I added Wellbutrin...nada. Switched to Effexor-itching put an abrupt end to that. Switched to Luvox and 3 nights ago
> got a free ride to hospital from EMS with a pulse rate of about 140 and BP skyrocketing. Dr. dropped Luvox to 100mg(from 200)and added Klonopin. Now itching from Luvox, have dropped it, and just doing 1.5 Klonopin. Feel like a zombie and seriously considering AD vacation. Depression sucks but this is ridiculous. And no, I don't want LSD therapy.
> Oh wise ones, what say thou?Hi Phil,
Your an old friend, I have enjoyed reading your posts, unfortuantely,
I am not the wise one you call for, more like blind leading blind, oh well
I thought I would relate my situation since we sound alot alike.
Saw my doc recently, we finally quit the risperdal,
woohoo, its hard enough trying to find a job w/o,
"on anti-pyschotic meds" on my resume. I have been
down to 1/2mg of klonopin for a few weeks now and
am now going down to 1/4mg a day. Mood is stable,
not happy, not sad, about where I was before i had
my severe reaction to prednisone which trigger
everything. I didnt think or know I w as depressed
then but have always kinda feel that way, just never
got treatment except once about 15yrs ago. I have
been off the AD merrygoround for about 3wks, no real
big problems, my tries were zoloft(killed sex), wellbutrin
(itched at 200mg), celexa(messed up skin&itched).
We decided to try again with a small (100mg) dose of
wellbutrin. After a couple days mild itching had already
started. My doc said I could probably get by w/o
any AD but that one would probably enhance my life.
I agree with you though, I dont know if I want try another
one after this. I might just try to make it w/o one.
I know I probably didnt really help any but thought
I would share some of your views anyway.
Sincerely
daveand as for the LSD dicussions, I think that is absolutely
ridiculous to even dicuss it.
