> Has anyone taken BuSpar as an antidepressant booster, and/or to reverse sexual side effects? I know it's used for anxiety, I don't have that; just need more punch from my AD's and would like someday to have a sex life, before I'm too old to enjoy it.

> Thanx!I'm taking buspar as a boost to remeron. The remeron doesn't seem to be having any effect anymore. Doc has actually increased the Buspar. Seems anxiety is probably a substantial part of my depression. (Will increase Buspar to the max and stay there for a bit before switching from the remeron to something else. Don't want to be switching too many things at once.)
While it seems to be working on the anxiety, I also seem to be sleeping constantly now. I don't know if it's the buspar, or if it's just that the depression is getting deeper again because the remeron is getting less and less effective.
Sexual side effects ? I don't know from sexual side-effects. You gotta have sex to know about sexual side effects. LOLOL
One last, I was not aware of any problem with anxiety myelf either, until this Buspar started to take effect. I have been somewhat surprised at what a difference it has made. Give it a try, if it does nothing for you, say so, and try something different.
