grief

Posted by gayleb on January 24, 1999, at 20:32:02

My mother died in April from breast to
bone cancer after a four year battle.
I was one of her primary caretakers.
Then, my father died in June from
complications from cancer surgery.
I am 42 years old, disabled from
depression and vision problems. I have
never lived on my own- suddenly I had to
move into an apartment in another city
near my sister. So many changes! It's
getting a little better, but there
are times when I miss my parents-
I miss my old home! The numbness has
worn off- now I feel sad when something
reminds me of my parents.

Has anyone experienced anything like
this?
