OK, I just went and read up on the side effects of trazadone. Priapism would be a terrible side effect for me, since I lack the anatomical prerequisite... (Thanks Saint James, it was listed.) But the side effects for trazadone sound as though I'd like to avoid them. Effexor has also come up in discussion, and I wonder if that might be a better choice? It didn't even mention hypotension, and weight gain wasn't listed either. THese are the two things that scare me most, overall. (Keep in mind: the anorexia is in remission, if you will. I'm a little too heavy all the time to keep it down (see info on set point theory), so gaining weight is an issue.)
Can anyone offer any words of any sort of information? Keeping in mind that I am resistant to most drugs, both in not wanting to take them and in not responding without about triple the standard doses?
