Since there are still some unanswered questions posted at the end of October, could you either
a) post an announcement thread reminding newcommers and others to look at October
or
b) leave end of October new posts posted until the middle of the month?

Don't you love it when someone throws a wrench into you well thought solutions to "too long posts"? Ha!
