Scott

I value your interest in this topic. In an extremely condensed version to answer your question to what you're probably hoping for, the answer is yes.

I will invite ray to re-enter this conversation. His knowledge is far greater than mine and I should never have spoken for him before. That was a mistake on my part.

ray - I'm sorry for speaking on your behalf. Could you please come back and continue with this discussion. You know much better than I do on how to explain. That's very embarrassing for me to say but it's the truth. Scott is looking for some insight and I think he deserves your knowledge. Please accept my apologizes.

Lou's offers some clarification- Lou Pilder

FRiends,
I have written that my faith experiance has revealed to me many things about the topic of the antichrist. What has been revaled to me concerning this subject is not the same as dispensatioanal premillinialism as taught by many popular people. Hal Lindsey' book, Jerry Falwell's sermons, Dick Lehey C.I. Scofield's writings, and many others prescribe to variations of the concept of dispensational premillliniaism. The doctrine was popularised in the early 1800's.

In reply to Lou's offers some clarification- Lou Pilder, posted by Lou Pilder on February 1, 2005, at 13:02:05

Friends,
The word antichrist is of two words. Anti and christ. Anti could mean against or without or in antangosism to, or replaced by, or substituted for, or some other meanings. Christ is a Greek word that means anointed, (christos). So the word antichrist could mean against the anointed, or in place of the anointed, or substituted for the anointed, or in antagonism to the anointed.
This anointing of someone is what my faith experiance revealed to me. This experiance revealed to me who the antichrist is . It is this anointing that enabled me to overcome addiction and depression. The anointing is the power to overcome what you can not overcome on your own. Who can love their enimies? Who can forgive those that despitfully use you? Who can give someone their cloak that stole your coat? Who could forgive someone 70 times 70 times?
When I was on The Road, I encountered a Rider on a White Horse. I asked Him what He was doing. He said to me, "The spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring the good news, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives , to comfort all that mourn, to give beauty for ashes, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of rightiousness, everlasting joy shall be theirs."

Friends,
What is in place of the anointing? What is against the anointing? What is the antichrist? Who is the antichrist?
The anointing is something that all can have. This anointing comes into your being, your flesh. It is Living Water and the Bread of Life. This life gives you the power to overcome and receive the Crown of Life. The anointing can be in you.
How can you have this anointing? The anointing is not of the world and can not be substituted by anything of the world. The substitution of worldly things for the anointing is anti anointing. Will fame or prestige give you the anointing? would welth? Would being a member of a group?
When I was on The Road, I asked the Rider about the anointing. He said to me,"Love not the world nor the things that are in the world. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of God but is of the world. And the world pases away, and the lust of it with it, but he that does the will of God abides forever."

Yes, Lou, but isn't it the description of the AC in the Scripture that determines its definition and not the logic of an etymologist? I am more interested in knowing what is the AC according to the prophecies contained in the New Testament that describe him and the events that are to surround his coming.

I am a bit dismayed to here this. It has been my heart to love the world and all the things in it precisely because they are the Creation of God.

The antichrist-the anointing-

In reply to The Antichrist-The anointing, posted by Lou Pilder on February 2, 2005, at 21:28:37

Friends,
The antichrist has been revealed to me. But I would like for it to be kept in mind that anti could mean "substituted for", or in place of, or against,or something similar, so that antichrist could mean substituted for christ but christ is a Greek word for anointed. So antichrist could mean something that is substituted for the anointing. Antichrist could also have the potential to mean those that are against the anointing, thus having the potential of being against the anointing and substituting something else for the anointing.

I had an encounter with a Rider on a White Horse in my faith experiance. And I asked Him as to about the anointing. He said to me,"I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh. I will put my law in their inward parts and write it in their hearts. And the anonting will be from The Holy One and teach you all things. You will be a whole new creature. Old things will pass away, all things will be new."

That's a great question, Lou. I think that it takes more courage to post something that hasn't already been accepted by a posting community than it does to add posts that join the mainstream. It is not a mainstream event to divulge the kinds of revelations you speak of. Does that help at all? To share your described experiences of spiritual revelation is to disclose personal information that might be ridiculed by others.

Did you feel that what I said was anything other than a complement - which is what it was meant to be? Why did you feel it necessary to draw the Effexor analogy?

Hi Lou.

It would probably not be supportive to brainstorm all of the different reasons why people might not react favorably to your writings. I find them interesting, and have no intention of ridiculing them.

I'll take the easy way out and say that I find all of its aspects interesting - at least those that I have thusfar had the mental energy to read. I am still interested in what you were revealed by the horseman.

Lou, you tend to respond to the questions asked of you with questions of your own instead of providing answers. I am interested in the specific details of what you were revealed about the antichrist. I would prefer not to have this thread continue at length with the antichrist being the central theme, as I know it is upsetting to others to even see the word written. Perhaps you could be more succinct and pointed in your replies. Thanks.

ScottL.,
You wrote,[....I am interested in the spacific details of what you have been revealed about the antichrist...not to have this thread continue in lengh...].
What I have been revealed is not what popular teachings write about. The popular teachings come from around 1840 popularised by a man named Miller and Darby. In reading about his theory, he had some logical thoughts. He took the prophesies from the book of Danial about the 1260 days and the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD and what was supposed to be the birth date of Jesus of Nazereth and predicted that the end of the world would come around 1844. His followers, the MIllerites, formed many new groups when it did not happen. So there were then revisions of the dates and the doctrine of dispensational premillinnialism was popularised by many new groups comming out of the Millerites. This doctrine had the antichrist as a man to be born and become a world leader and you can read Jerry Falwell or Hal Lindsey or Dick LeHey and many others about this topic.
The doctrine of dispensational premillinnialism is reletivly new. In my faith experiance, it has been revealed to me something eniterly different from the doctrine of dispensational premillinnialism. I could write here what has been revealed to me about this but it would , I am sorry, be very lengthly.

I missed this earlier, completely. Thank-you for filling in AG.

I did a little search on the Internet and found out that some people think he is George Bush. Others think he was Mohammed, and still others think he is Joseph Smith. Some even think he is the United Nations. Personally, I don't think we know him yet, but the chances are really high that whoever it is, he's alive right now. I have never been one to predict things, but I wonder if the year 2020 might be significant, just because 20/20 is perfect vision. What to watch for? I would say when people start to think evil is good and good is evil we are getting close, and that's kind of where we are today. Also, "IF" there was one true church of Jesus Christ on the earth and "IF" there are true Christians scattered throughout all religions, and "IF" the anti christ is anti Christ, then I suppose there would be significant opposition mounting toward those people. A growing number of people now are beginning to label all organized religions as cults.

When one group goes into combat in war, the first thing they do is shut down the communication channels of the other party. Satan is now trying to shut down and scramble the communication channels between us and God. Once the communication channels are blocked off, conquest is easy. What tools does Satan use to block out communication? Noise, loud disruptive music, busy lives, disfunctional family, pornography, immorality, false educational ideas, and the list goes on.

Peace, purity, love, service, prayer, scripture reading, quiet, meditation, kindness, doing good for right reasons, are some things that keep the communication channel open to God.
