I feel these could truly help me with debilitating social anxiety.
Does any one know of a doctor in Los Angeles who has prescribed these?
The idea of being turned down over and over is like a Catch-22 with what I'm dealing with already.

My doctor is in San Marcos and I'm on Maplan. He's not scared to use MAOis (in his 60s). It'd be a drive for you but figured I'd mentioned him in case you don't find other options and think it's worth it at least in the short term. I know he has patients on Nardil and I'm guessing Parnate although I've never asked specifically....
But yea would be a good drive depending on your schedule. Also the center he works at can be a tough place to get an appointment. If interested he works out of Psychiatric Center at San Diego (Dr M I r r o w )
I'm sure there are some doc's in LA who work are familiar with MAOis but i know what you are too g through. I got really lucky that this doctor who I ended up with out of my last hospital stay was ok w MAOis unlike most younger docs...

Oh actually I just googled the time/distance and it's way longer than I thought (1h40m).
Sorry about that. I'm halfway between SD and LA so I underestimated it....
I hope someone helps you w an la doctor suggestion....

You could try Dr. Thomas M.Brod
12304 California State Route 2 #210, Los Angeles, CA 90025,310-207-3337
I saw him many many years ago when I lived in Los Angeles and he is a wonderful person. He seems to have gone very holistic now, judging by his website, but you could always call him and ask. Definitely worth a try.
This is the end of the thread.
