thanks for such an interesting article. Ive read it before,but had forgotten about it.I will book mark this.He says that klonopin is associated with a reduced incidence of alzheimers? I'd like to read more on that. Also, I wonder what he thinks of klonopin used for anxiety.So it protects your neurons by keeping them from firing excessively?I would think anxiety causes that,just like that condition the dr treats patients for?

I'm guessing the neuron firing would have to do with seizures and what triggers them. I wonder since valium prevents seizure also like in alchohol withdrawal if they are not all pretty similar. I don't know though. The docs used to say klonopin was less addictive hence they went from xanax to klonopin. Phillipa
