Deramciclane, possibly an effective treatment for anxiety and depression? It is in phase three trials and has proven effictiveness in treating anxiety. It is a 5HT2a antagonist, a 5HT2C inverse agonist and a GABA reuptake inhibitor, sounds to me like a good combined depression anxiety med, possibly without the tolerance build up of benzo's, due to it being a gaba re uptake inhibitor.

I was reading about it on wikipedia, but another source says its been discontinued, oh well.

Another poster suggested I not use wiki is it not a good site? Thought it was combined research from a variety of sources. Lots of stuff now to sift through on the internet for sure sorry it didn't turn out. Phillipa

Yeah, it never made it through the Phase Three drug trial.

Exactly. Wiki is really not the best place to get accurate info.
