I'd like to know if Proscar can be reasonably split into a few pieces (vs breaking into a million or unevenly).
Might anyone have any information regarding this? If so (or not) could you please state whether this is the brand Merck pill, or generic?

Some people take 1/4 of a 5mg finasteride tablet daily for hair loss. You can split it approximately, it does not have to be precise. Always ensure that women are not exposed to the powder created by splitting the tablets.
