Viagra for anorgasmia?

Posted by mattye on April 2, 2007, at 20:58:53

I know this has been discussed before, but I was wondering if anyone had any updates on this issue.

I'm a 25 year old male on 30 mgs. of Lexapro. I can get an erection, but my desire is a little blunted and it takes a lot of work to get an orgasm. I normally have really good control over when I -uh- finish. I hate having to work so hard to make it happen.

I've heard that high dose viagra can help reverse this somewhat, according to some new research. I remember reading it, but I can't find it.

Has anyone had some luck with this antidote? Anything else that has worked well? I know this topic has been discussed to death, but any updates?

I don't know about Viagra, but Periactin (cyproheptadine) and dopamine agonists like cabergoline are supposed to be the best for reversing SSRI induced anorgasmia, the Viagra is more for people who have erectile difficulties.
