Did your mother take your medication and remove the Dex cold turkey?
If yes, that is extremely wreckless.

hey matt! sorry about the dex. situation...could you find a different doc who won't allow your mother to dictate the rules in therapy? Or..move out? EIther way. Anyway, as for your meds...they all seem pretty straightforward. Are you having any problems?

yes my mom is extremly..... harsh. She goes manic, you did it!

Yes i was took off it cold turkey, didnt really have any problems, thank god, no withdrawl symtoms.

If you have read about my mom......you would tell me to move out. She loves to argue. I have gone crazy a couple times, dont want to go in specific. ha... sometimes set off mania.

Anyways... besides that im ok. ROFL

Thanks

Matt

I thought you did some sort of outpatient thing for the stimulant, uh, coming off. Did I get that wrong?

Yes my mom took off it strainght up, i went to the out patient CD classes and i was like well..... im not taking it anymore, there was opiate, methamphetamine, cocaine addicts, one lady came in HIGH as high can get, she was like i just saw a sampanson and son (the old tv program) with a boat fall off the side of the danm truck, I LOVE MY COCAINE ROFL inthere some of them where very professional, they dressed very well. There was on woman name Lisa, i called her Sparky because she exploded like a spark plug that was doctor shopped for 10 years for opiate prescriptions, she was a banker, very very well dressed always came in with a suit on.

Anyways besides that blah... i was like Derek (social worker) i am not taking this anymore, i dont have cravings which i didnt in the first place, i dont take the darn prescription.

They discharged me after that. But i spent 4 weeks 5 days a week. It was depresssssssssing. I hated it, everyone there smoked.

Anyways i think i posted too much.

I understand better now.

I would think an outpatient situation might NOT be the best choice for someone - like the ones you mentioned - to have effective treament. It would seem to me, inpatient with controls over access would be better. But, I don't know that much about substance abuse treatment ideas.

Glydin that could be just what Matt needs now inpatient that way the doctors could prescribe his meds without interference from him Mom and visiting hours are usally restricted except for weekends cause the pateints are in groups all day. What an excellent idea. Matt are you willing to check with the local hospitals and see which ones have an inpatient facility. I wonder if the Betty Ford Clinic has scholarships? Love Mom 2 Phillipa
