On Zoloft Was On Nardil Help!

Posted by jlkny on May 16, 2004, at 18:23:06

I am now on Zoloft and I just dont seem to have the get up and go and have been struggling with Low grade depression for a long time. I have tried so many things. I am sure that there is a drug out there that will lift my spirits. The only thing that seemed to work was Nardil but it gave me so many side effects like weight gain swelling in my knees and ankles and feet that I was uncomfortable.

Has anyone experienced similiar depression and have they found something that has given them the lift from depression where they felt like being around people again and enjoying life again? I really would like to hear from people.

Thanks!

I don't know if you tried the other MAOI, Parnate, but it does have fewer side effects than Nardil and is quite powerful.
