Just a querie for my brother.. He has been prescribed Zyban (Wellbrutin) to give up smoking, and the insert with the tablets says not to take with Amitriptyline. So can he simply stop the Amitrip. (20mg) or will he need to taper. If so, how long??
Thanks all

> Nikki xHi,
As it is a very low dose, I think quitting cold turkey is no problem. (25mg are the taper steps if you take it for depression, for example). I once did quit cold turkey from 100mg to 0, but that was a big failure. believe me. that was the worst I ever experienced (effexor was was nothing compared to this). stupid me.
good luck
Roland
