This is just my experience, but: benzodiazepines did not have any noticeable effect. Try 5-HTP (I can't say how much), and if that doesn't work, try 50 mg of sertraline. If that doesn't work try olanzapine or risperidone. If the key is histamine H1-antagonism and not dopamine, then quetiapine (Seroquel) would be expected to work.
