And a study showing NAC interacting with some AD's

Following up on my own post (below) I found one study in an animal model which found NAC reduced the minimum effective doses of imipramine and escitalopram, while NAC increased the minimum effective dose of fluoxetine in the same model. This seems to indicate the potential for drug interactions.

> Tried NAC after reading all the "promising" studies. I'm not sure because my antidepressants have never had a consistent effect, periods of feeling better and worse. However I think I see some association with feeling worse when I've been taking NAC (which I've tried, on and off, varying amounts for up to a couple of months at a time). Anyone else? Seems to fly in the face of all those studies (which have been small and with conflicting results, but none mention worsening of mood as an adverse effect).
