If it were me, I would come off meds for a period of time before trying to conceive. That being said too, if I were female I would NEVER take an antidepressant during pregnancy. I hear mothers say "well I don't want to go through withdrawal !!" (waah wahh). I hope they know the baby goes through withdrawal from the drug (and all the potential alterations in brain development due to prenatal exposure to the drug). Real altruism there.
