It makes sense that if while going through the developmental stage of early life ( birth, through adolescence) ...one was faced with extreme stressful situations on a daily basis...
perhaps the brain and/or nervous system suffers irreparable damage, and thus tries to compensate with certain mechanisms to survive.
Does this make sense ?
Add to that the introduction of Medications into the system designed to control the symptoms ( such meds often having their own side-effects slightly differing depending on the individual) and I can see a real reason for the struggle to argue for or against being "Med-Free"...Thanks BD...you have given me much to think about~
