I experienced the same problem on Remeron. It actually added to my depression. If it hasn't gone away after a month, then I'd say ask for something else from your pdoc.

There are lots of excellent sleep aids out there that don't (at least for me) cause that problem. Ambien and Lunesta, if they work, and benzos (I take small amounts of Xanax and Lunesta right now) and it works like a charm.
